CUPE 727 was established in September of 1963 and our members are the support staff of School District 70 Pacific Rim and we proudly service the Alberni Valley, Tofino, Ucluelet and Bamfield communities. Our local has over 250 members and we provide a wide range of services which support children and families in these communities within the Pacific Rim. Our departments that support our schools are:
- Student Services working in schools and the community
- Maintenance
- Custodians
- Transportation
- Clerical
- Information & Technology
- Other important stand-alone positions supporting students, community and families
CUPE 727’s mission is to provide the best care, education and environment to the children, families and communities we serve in a safe and healthy learning space.
