Health and safety is an essential part of our union’s work. CUPE members face a wide range of hazards. CUPE provides tools, resources and training to help members stay healthy and safe and to encourage activism.
CUPE 727 also has a joint Health and Safety committee that carries out inspections to make sure our schools are safe to work in. If you have any concerns, please talk to a member of your worksites Health & Safety team. There should be a CUPE members on each team at each work location. If you are having issues with Violence in the Workplace, please contact your Shop Steward if you have questions or need help filling out a WorkSafe 6A form.
